See ya on Sunday.

Nobody listen to Paul. He is a jessie of the highest degree. He likes to put grease on his disk brakes to get rid of the "squeak" and he likes to try and make strangers wear dresses and call him sargent. Hmmmmmmmmm DODGY PUNTER is all I'll say
Will ya be doing this again at some stage ? really interested but can't make tomorrow.
Aiming to try do at least one of the winter league events and it would be great to get some tips on getting to finish line

This will be amazing, unfortunately I dont have a bouncy bike at the minute so wont make this one . If there is ever one rescheduled for the future I'd be mad for it. Might even tag along to watch.
Indeed it will be amazing. Fair play to Paul, i absolutely love it when Elite riders put in the time to show people the skills needed to really enjoy your biking.
Paul, that was great, thanks again, glad I went as I was feeling a bit stiff and lazy..
learned a few nice things I can work on that I'm not doing right.
cheers

that was class nice one Paula. My dog doesn't take shortcuts, she was just showing us the proper lines!! Your track is deadly and that gap jump you've made is madness. My brain still can't comprehend it.
That was pretty good. Even I learnt stuff, and I thought I knew everything. We need more of them, and more people on them, anyone can go faster if they get the right advice, you don’t have to be into DH or want to race, you just have to want to go faster, it all translates into being a better bike rider. Its not even about someone like Paul telling you some deep dark secret that will make you deadly its about watching what good riders do on the bike and having someone watch you so they can tell you where you are going wrong, then getting the chance to practice with a good group and pushing the old limits abit.

And you can ALL do with going a bit faster. So if you want to go faster and learn how to be a better rider then get your ass out on the next one.

Here are some useful tips to let you know you need help (and what you should do next):

- The rider in front of you keeps on disappearing into the distance. (You need to go faster, pretend you are just after catching him in bed with your wife, or he just robbed pint when you went for a piss, whatever you do don’t let him get away).
- There is no body in front of you but all you can hear behind you is breaks squeaking. (Firstly if they are my breaks squeaking, get the fcuk out of me way, your holding up the show, if they are somebody else’s fcuk them, wait till they get past you then see one above).
- Your not one of those fast people, you like crawling along (you problem is self delusion, you are not happy being slow, nobody is, sit in a dark room, on your own with a couple of cans, until you start being honest with yourself, have a good chat with yourself, then cop on an go quicker.)
- You are afraid of getting hurt (harden the fcuk up).
- You don’t really care if you go down hills fast, you just like being out with the lads in the mountains having a good time, and a bit of banter in the pub afterwards, you don’t mind if Frederick is faster than you, good for him (The problem here is that you are gay, once you have accepted that you will find that there are other sports more suited to your tastes, like greko roman wrestling and squash).
- You are afraid to ride with people because you think they are faster than you and you don’t want to get in there way or look silly (you were obviously bullied as a child, you have two potions suck it up and get on with it or take up bingo, its up to you).
- You keep on making excuses as to why you can’t do this or cant do that, or what they are faster than you today, or last week. (You are A. either full of ****e [meaning you can either cop on to yourself, or give up], or B. you want to be better but are getting frustrated cause your not, if so then practice, practice, practice).

You may have a combination of the above also, if so you are pretty ****ed up, ring me for a personal consultation, I have a lot of experience in the area of frustrated delusional closet homosexuals.
