3-4 hr spin around Dublin

Hello all,
my brother is off as we speak to collect his new Spesh Stumpjumper, so in celebration were both taking half day tomorrow to christen it on a few trails.

Planning a decent 3-4 hr spin somewhere probably Dublin area. If anyone would care to join us you are more than welcome. Also if anyone could offer a good route that would be most appreciated.

At present we were thinking of doing Leadmines and/or Ticknock - can anyone let me know if there would be enough trails if we stuck to just one to get out for a good 3-4 hr spin. We've both been to Ticknock a good few times but have yet to sample Leadmines (so wouldn't have a clue where we'd be going ;D)

Did a loop today starting at Ticknock,cutting up onto the wicklow way following it all the way to Djouce,then home by road.Great views over powerscourt. Bring spare legs ,its a long one(over 45k),but there are lots of opportunities to cut it short.Took about 4 hours on the bike(plus lunch:)). Goodluck which ever way u go.Hope its drier than today!
