best blast bike

no 10k factory jobs , but the ordinary man on the street budget, bike if you could have just for the blast and that type downhill races , what would ye have?

this year definitely not a dh bike and definitely not a cross country bike..you will need to be able to pedal but you will need to be able to huck yourself out of danger..
there is zero fireroad and more jumps..
Armour will be a good idea , there will be more crashes..

hey if you're going to flap your gums about best bikes for the Blast put up some photos, if you are a bike shop with a bike you think is suitable, fire up a few photos and a review..and not one robbed from a limey or other foreign website..

I'll post a pict, and give my tuppence worth. But the blast is about the rider.
Thing is, I'd say every bike shop has a suitable steed in their range, but not all of them have a salesman who knows his oxo's.
Unless you of course read MBUK and buy from the net.
