I was surprised on Sunday when I helped a guy load an XC hard tail with V-brakes onto the uplift ...... "don't fancy your chances" I thought to myself! But I was properly gobsmacked when I saw him come past Big Vinnie in the Top 10 in the main Blast and he went on to finish 9th! I don't know Joules at all but surely he's the unsung hero of the whole weekend?

well hes only one of Irelands top paddlers and been an on and off spinner with Byrners *******s for years..
He was also on the podium beside Niall and Robin for the 1st place finals. He will love to read this thread, ha. Nice one Joules.

ha ha yeah saw Joules up there on his hack bike. One of the funniest moments I experienced at the blast was when I met Fat Fecker after his first heat with a 2 on his plate and him having beaten the winner of his previous heat.

Joules, Andrew and myself went for a spin up djouce about 2 months ago. In the first hour we were out we had done about 10mins of single track i knew! the other 50mins was completly new to me... it was great crack.
