Mel won the Elite Women's title overall in the UK - not sure if an Irish women (she has the passport now!) has done this before (and was 2nd on GC in the 5 day Ras na mBan the week before - she won the county rider prize too).

Another standout ride in my opinion was Matt Adair - he had World Class competition in his race (the winner was a medalist at the Euros/Worlds).
