Looking for Dublin trails for night rides over the winter...

Hopefully this being my 1st post is OK or perhaps I need to do some introductory post?

Anyway, I am new to MTB and looking to see where I can do some night rides (have the proper light etc) over the winter. Specifically in forests or trails?

Happy to join the club if there is a club event each week or the like.

Any help or advice appreciated. I think Ticknock closes early in the winter, so if there was somewhere you could just rock up and go.

Ticknock car park closes but the trails are open 24/7.

Have fun, however, I would really advise against doing night spins on your own... even if you're an experienced rider. If you do, make sure you let people know where you're going and have a mobile phone with you.

I'm hooked!

Went out last night and some very helpful riders were able to give me a rough idea of where to go. Met a guy called Paul on my second run and he knew the area, so got a good run with him - thanks mate.

Have to say it's some buzz and a great facility.
