we haven't had a Dublin nationals in years..1996 I think, in the Phoenix park.

put the tents and start finish area at Toms Sex Shop..and away you go..

Nice bit of land for sale beside toms that could be used as a start finish field/car park.

Bellurgan would be class, great venue, maybe could do with some more possibilities for overtaking, singletrack overload at the moment. Few extra gap jumps as well maybe?

Or Dunmore, class place if people don't mind the event being on a Saturday.

you should have seen the course in bellurgan the last time there was plenty overtaking opportunities only about half the course was singletrack

Richard that's not how it works. The Borg collective, sorry did I say that? - I mean the Cycling Ulster offroad guys - all decide what they want, then send Martin as their representative. It's like Epic sending you or me to talk to (brown-nose to) Coillte - send the sensible guy who can get stuff done without going off on one.

But yeah, Tollymore would be a good venue, the Champs was there about 4 years ago. Good place. Not sure if permission/access is an issue there?

No Rostrevor trails won't be finished until mid 2013 apparently.

Bellurgan would be perfect. They'v put on some excellent events and have proved they're more than capable of running a top class Nats
