On the one hand my winter/night riding layers are ****e. They've shrunk, they're bulky, too warm to begin with, when they get wet they stay wet, then they're bloody freezing. OK while I'm still moving but if I had to stop for any length of time it could get ropey. On the other hand my tyres, particularly the rear, are lethal on slippery roots. They're slowing me down and eventually they're going to get me whacked hard.
So what do you reckon..
A) Icebreaker base layers.
B) Hutchinson Bulldogs 2.3 Tubeless
C) Some balls, you whinging ninny!
Base layers for sure, a cold rider is not a happy one and more prone to crashing. And no tyre is going to give you grip on a wet root so you'd be disappointed to spend 40 yo yos and still be sliding around the place.
