It was tough going, the snow was soft and clingy, and underneath it the mud was deep and unfrozen, the worst of both worlds. Then when we hit the flat ridge everything became rideable and magnificent. Poor visibility, with all the usual markers hidden made navigation a bit hit and miss at times, but what a spin. Deffo not to be tried unless you know the place well.
