Happy New Year EPIC !

Happy New Year people..
Highlight of the year for us has to be The Blast..Gee Atherton, the Helicopter, the whole razzle Dazzle..
Even the controversy afterwards was EPIC..
There won't be a Blast in 2012 but maybe in 2013 !
I think it would be a collossal disaster if it never happened again. We would lose an event completely unique to Ireland.
I think it would be a complete and utter failure by every rider in the Country to allow it to die .
Sure there were a few things said afterwards ..big frickin deal.
Words...just words.

Evidently....finally out of the dark and into the light !
The other one was off a head cam and the quality was poor

I suffer from premature congratulations too!
I think Richie summed it up there. Also, We can all look forward to a new year with great spins and races.

You were Senior Gee Champ for 2011, thats like winning the World champs at Scrabble or Ludo or something !

You're confused there Richie ..... I was talking about Smithers and what I asked was "how can someone so fast be so fat?"

Thanks Richie for inviting me in, haven't enjoyed biking this much in a long time, the spins are tuff but great fun. Great to always have a spin option even if ya can't keep up YET.

EPIC is all about the spins and the EPIC Club League and while the Blast is a fantastic thing. My enduring memory of it was while building the first Blast Course.
Myself and Cormac Power dragged 17 Pallets up to the top all those years ago.
I used to wheel 3 on a wheelbarrow and Sophie had to sit on them as she was only 4 or 5 at the time. It was serious hardship !
And Killian, Cormac and Myself carrying trees and logs you wouldn't believe after work during the weeks leading up to it.
So many good people gave up so much to run the damn thing.
Me and Damo,Bon, Skippy and Jack have never raced it.

Anyway, EPIC is all about the spins.

it doesnt matter if we never run another event.
We will of course but its the camaraderie,the adventure and most of all the people that makes EPIC, EPIC ..
