So when I got home after my spin and walked through the house, stopped to say hello to Ciara and then got the keys for the gate and shed, I found my bike had been lifted off the back of the car

It looks like this and funny enough this is how the wee f**kers would have found it.....



Its a Cotic Bfe with Rock Shox Pikes and Nukeproof wheels, other bits are white Avid Elixir brakes, white gear cable, X0 rear mech, single front ring with gold bolts, white Truavtiv stem and bars, Charge Spoon saddle with orange underside.......

Anyone sees it around the Blanch area don't hesitate to give me a shout on 087 nine574495

make sure u report it to the cops. It being so distinctive you have a good chance of getting it back. Apparently when they raid houses these days they now take any bikes that are there and leave it for the scrotes to come and reclaim them if they can prove ownership.

2 scrotes ( great description) brought in 3 hybrids the otherday and asked to change , saddles, tyres, grips, put bottle cages, tribars ..going to cost about €300 , !'m pretty sure they are robbed but the guards have nothing on record like them ! My Solid was robbed in exactly the same manner as yours , Mark.

There seems to be a spate of bike thefts at the moment, mine was robbed from Dunnes Butchers of Donnybrook lastnight (Giant Terrago disc - antracite) I was not even a metre away from it!
