New Forum = New Features

Right,

I'm sure by now you will have started to notice the visual changes that are happening on the forum, with our new forum we have lots of new features and we will use this thread to show you how to use them.

I'm going to ask that we keep it pretty chat free and focus on questions and answers re how to use the new forum. Myself and Graham will do our best to answer any questions you may have.

First up is Video.

If you would like to share a video with other forum users it couldn't be easier.

We will use the Gravity Enduro preview as an example

Go to the video page on Vimeo (Works the same on YouTube, Facebook videos etc) and copy the page URL / address



Then go to write your post on the message board as normal, when it comes to the part where you want to insert your video click on the film strip icon in the tool bar above where you are writing your post. Paste the URL into the pop up box as below.



And that is all it takes.

The result is.....






For those who rather type BB code rather than use the graphic UI you can wrap the [VIDEO] tags around any video URL

Facebook

For those of you so inclined you can now connect your Epic MTB user account and your Facebook account.In its simplest form this just cuts down on the amount of times you may have to login but it also give you the option to publish 'likes' and even post to your facebook stream when you start a new thread etc.

There are other Facebook features I haven't made live ye but they are coming.

To connect your accounts look at the top of the forum site and press connect, EpicMTB has no access to your private Facebook content or passwords if you choose to connect like this.
