just to say thanks for supporting the Gold rush

didn't get a chance to do this earlier in the week, alfie has me working too hard, but just to say thanks to all the riders but particularly the epic guys for making this such an event, 70 odd riders, is a third of the field and what 70% of the club??...jeeez!

thanks for feedback too, and thanks to Richie for helping out, support and commentary/organisation skills [always reqd for his knowledge of the riders] and Alfie expert cycles for supporting the race, along with Cycle Superstore providing some prizes also, outside this club need to mention David Lawless for helping me dig, and Fergal K for the IT support, registration and his pie charts, looks great, your doing a great job! lastly mention the non Team Worcer Luke Manning for keeping the thing on track on the day..


glad the course held up, with the monsoon on saturday night and glad none of my woodwork let me down and caused a big crash...the last week was filled with paranoia and a box of 6*100mm screws! jsut to make sure..

stand out rides for me were Paddy M from o!ur own club, at 50 re inventing himself and winning s2, but of course Marlena..pretty sensational! My impression from watching her, would be Brave but with NO misguided Bravado! Well done!

Excellent event Robin! Well run, course was brilliant, top class!... Look forward to racing there again.. :)

It was some day Bob. Word had got out about the course you have built there and I think everyone was blown away by what it had to offer. It was a stunning venue, and thanks to all who made it happen. I'm no racer but leaving that day I was having perverse thoughts about taking it more seriously. It also goes to show what a private partnership with world class trails can deliver, I just hope Kaz opens it soon and it succeeds.

no problem Bob..theres nothing like a fantastic course and a fantastic event, hats off to everybody who raced and supported it..I can't believe Joe went to Lanzarote and Richie Felle went mining in Derroura !
