Cape Epic Started
Deadly, that's been on my bucket list for a while, I might do it for my 40th .... still have 9 years to train! :)
I was signed up for the innaugural one years ago, but had to give my entry away due to work committments and exams etc so its on my bucket list too i competed in its little brother (www.sabiexperience.co.za) in 06, but hoping to do Epic in 2015 coincidently my 40th
is there a solo category ??
no solo for epic, but there is another race called the Cape Pioneer, said to be better than the Epic in all but name in which there is a solo cat.

The race is in the same region as one of the long standing classics of the SA mtb calender, which I have done it a few times, called the Karoo to Coast, a fecking awesome ride. I potentailly have a partner lined up for Epic, but if not I might attempt the pioneer instead
