It took a lot of commitment to be able to mix it up with the elites (even if it's only 1 or 2 races in the season that go that well...) and yes it's rewarding but can also be frustrating when things don't go as planned, everyone in S1 is so feckin savage and they don't make mistakes so there is a lot of pressure before and during every race. I love it though, it a strange way, but it's most of all the support of great people around you that make it so good so thanks again!

there you go 4th for the man himself again today in the final round of the NPS..He can ride all year in the NPS but because he is Johnny Polackski the poxy rules forbid him from riding in the Nationals...sometimes rules are great, like not wearing black socks ever, especially with sandals but this one forbidding a brave and dedicated rider who committed himself to the National Point series,which he could actually win, the rules prevent him from racing in the Nationals, god forbid a foreign upstart who lives here, pays taxes here, gets parking fines here, should win a medal in the National Champs in a sport hes so passionate about ..
I remember Liam Killeen racing in the XC Nationals one time , he won the race but Robin got second but he got the Medal, when did this rule come about then ? I also remember Gee or Dan Atherton winning the DH Nationals one year too but of course, they did not get the medal but orobably got the prize money, I wished I paid more attention to these things !
