Well..
Its just over a year since Alfie took a big chance and opened a bike shop. In that year he has battled an Economic depression , a feckin surplus of bike shops in Dublin and begrudgery of the lowest order but hes still there, showing his class throughout..He managed to recruit Irelands Number 1 Mountainbiker of all time, the Man who beat everybody and I don't just mean everybody on this Island but a man who was only recently The World Champion in the Greatest race of all time.
He has shown that he is not only a smart businessman, a great mechanic and a fantastic rider but that he understands the bike riders out there..
Unlike his critics and they are tiny, he has given the last 10 years to help me and others become better riders, there would be no EPICmtb without him,No EPICdh, no Blast, no Nationals in Djouce, I would be in prison for murder ( I might still get there) and none of you would be here today.
We have all supported him, we all love him , he gives 6 days a week to that shop and 7 days a week to this club. He has on hand Robin Seymour , who knows more about fixing bikes, sorting suspension and riding your bike like a magician than anybody else. It amuses me that theres a couple of clowns out there that think they know more..don't make me laugh.
Well done Alfie , Happy Birthday Expert Cycles..keep on doing what you are doing and thank you to everybody that has supported him over the last year.

And hope to be back on hear in 9 years talking about how you opened in a little shop and now have a chain of them ..Its a deadly shop every time I go there its like the new meeting place for mtbers .. 1st bike shop I ever worked in!!! Have since used Alfie to get a few things fixed on my bike,great workmanship,and a very fair price on parts too!All the best to Expert Cycles.
