lance armstrong charged with doping offences

lance armstrong has been formally charged with doping offences by u.s. anti doping agency. this will come as a shock to the odd gob****e that thinks he won everything clean !!

its about time , im fairly sure its been going on for years !

But he was clean, I read it in his book.

i don't know, tested 500 times , never spiked in his performance, I'm going with my instincts, hes from Krypton !

show me a man who hasnt taken drugs and I will show you a boring *******. Tea, Coffee, Drink and everything else under the sun..do you honestly think that only some of them were on drugs...to do what they do they'd all have to be. His only crime was being caught if you ask me.

He's a long way from convicted! It'll drag on for years yet ..... yawn! Although he did say recently that he wouldn't contest any more charges but I'd be amazed if he just gives up his 7 TdeFs without a fight!

statute of limitations says he cannot lose a title after 10 years so 99-01 are in the bag and 02 will be soon

If the Feds can't make it stick what hope has the US Anti Doping. Anyway they were all on EPO and getting transfusions

What I can't understand is why this thing gets dragged up yet again, everyone knows he was dodgy, everyone knows they were all at it, just close that chapter and move on, its like jobs for the boys, nothing on right now...mmm, yea lets drag this up again, its like our tribunals... a waste of money... if the resources were put into making sure that the current crop stay clean that might be money better spent... they're all savages with or without the drugs. Its almost like Lance has retired, he's not in the news so much, maybe his business if dipping, how do we get back in the news, its all publicity.

Then agen you bring down a big man like him for doping and it could deter youth riders from doing the same !!!!

Taking the drugs are the least of his problems now. Its the charges around conspiracy, distribution, intent to supply, fraud etc that will be his real concern.

Maybe they should just have a special category in all sports that let people use drugs to enhance their performance so we can see how much faster and better athletes can become in comparison to non-doped ones and let the drug users race each other....that would be fair enough wouldn't it.
