I have one big question ...
will any of you be wearing goggles ? at the last one all the pro lads were wearing goggles..its going to be schlompy and scuttery up there for the weekend but goggles with an XC Hemlet ? Hmmm..I was going to go with FLats and 5.10s but I just can't cope with them..tried them this morning ( about my 10th attempt in 20 years ) and I can't use them, they were deadly on the descents once I got used to them but putting the hammer down on the climbs and flat bits..I couldnt hack them..they don't suit my style of murdering myself on the climbs at all..
so the goggles then ?

I feckin hate goggles, steamed up, mud encrusted disasters. I rode all winter with my trusty crud catcher combined with my fork mud guard yoke, and routinely had a clean face post spin. Didn't get mud in my eye once. If I was racing, that is the way I would do it, no question.

i'd sooner look like a mud encrusted disaster than a feckin postman, if you are not racing then you deserve a dose of the crabs !

I hope the crabs get me, the ones on the Spanish beach that is! Boom! See what I did there? I may be wearing goggles on the 27th after all, how else would I see all the little fishies?
