Hello Alfski, I know I havent posted a update for a while. Only stopped the painkillers last week they had me going around like a zombie. Got my check up last week. 9 days after the second operation. They managed to put the heel back together with a plate and 10 screws to hold the bones in place. Also 2 screws in the bone underneath the ankle. I saw the x ray and its quite a lot of screws. This week they have taken out the stichtes and put on a full cast for 4 weeks. In this time the bone has to grow back together. After that I will get a boot and with physio I can slowly put weight on the foot. Dont know when I be cycling again but it will be a while. I have spent the last 3 weeks in and out of Vincents Hospital and they have been great. They got me the best possible treatment and drugs to get me through this accident and hopefully back on my feet asap. As Richie said a few weeks ago this could have been a lot worse. Im still able to walk around the house ( on crutches) and enjoy a beer. Cant wait to do Lugg again but I be pulling the brakes a bit more and no more crazy decending.
