First time this evening to use clipless pedals and I have to say the difference is amazing, don't know why I didn't change sooner and the great news is I didn't fall....... Yet. Seem to have a lot more confidence and power on the uphill sections and everything else was just a blast.
Clipless all the way from now on.
I think Gerry even said that clipless pedals are your only man for XC racing though didn't he......I'm still more comfortable on flats with crap shoes myself, it ain't fast but I fall better.....speaking of Mac though, I wonder how he'll do in masters at the weekend as I rarely see him race, I'd expect him to do well enough, even in flats, unless he's just going for the laugh :)......good luck to everybody else racing.....I'll be up with the kids and some tambourines and whistles and **** to cheer yez all on. (Unless my wife has planned something completely different for the day....that's my fooking plan anyway)
