America land of the free !

I like America, anywhere that celebrates durty women, guns and out of control celebrities gets my vote..we'd still be eating potatoes and riding horses without their ingenuity and there constant love of war ! Its nice to see some reasonable approaches to this problem..i often wonder about National Parks and stuff like that , who exactly are we saving the wild places for, scientists who have no sense of adventure and Hillwalkers who have no sense of fun.
We have been told many times that the Miners trail in Glendo is off limits , even though its built to sustain hundreds of walkers and mostly made out of rock that was born millions of years ago and is still there. User conflict was also quoted about it ..what the hell is that ? I've never started a row with another user , though many have had a go at me ! As have many of us..it baffles me why we can't all just wave and say hello and have the craic.

All I'm after , all this time, is the same access as walkers . I agree certain places need to be taken care of but I refuse to accept that Mountainbikers are more irresponsible or unaware of the environment than the walking community is.
How simple is that ?
