ok..heading to Carrick on Saturday morning to get some practice in..planning to be there for 8.00ish..that means 8.00is at the layby across from the boozer..in Glenealy..why, who the **** cares..thats what I'm at..be there or be square...I have to be in work..obviously I am going to ride the whole frickin thing..none of this pansey arsed pushing up between transitions, last time I looked there were pedals on my bike..walking is for losers and old women riding the Menopause Honda 50...

just enter the shaggin thing Andy..I wouldnt bother my arse only I have no choice..the whole of EPIC should be at this, even if it was to show that we remember The Blast..because after all without the Blast, none of this would have happened.
Good idea doing an early practice but a rare thing I've the afternoon free so I'm heading down later in the day. I'll be back for the usual Saturday Screamer the following week if its on.

Did you get the e-mail from Gravity Enduro crew? Stage 1 is not going to be open for practice until 12:00. It's probably still worthwhile to check out the other ones.

that was savage...35km for me and Andy ! Mother of God..great dry trails, one doozy of a DH style trail and the other 4 XC style goodness and several beastial climbs..after stage 1 you go on a fine cycle to Roundwood off road and back again !
Fair play to Don..he ran out of gas but managed to bully me in to doing stage 5 with him..what a legend !

Does it get any better than that? Dry trails, fast gang, some of the best trails around, stage 5 is worth all the pain of the never ending fire roads. Can't believe I can't make it tomorrow! Cheers for a great spin Richie, 8am is the new 10am!
Well that was by far the best day on a MTB this year, the weather makes so much difference. It was actually unreal riding for 4h on dusty super fast singletrack, great craic too.
Whatever happens tomorrow, it has already been worth it! Can't wait!
