Thanks Richard, I only took up mtb 2 months ago! One mtb lesson, one ladies spin, did a biking weekend in Isle of Man at the beginning of August to check out some of the trails which was an eye opener! doing roughly 200km per week commuting to work and biking around sallygap and roundwood at weekends.
So have a year to improve, lots of practice needed!

So you're the girl that we've been hearing about
New Giant 29'er , never heard of gels, no off road experience and off to the end to end race..?!
well done - Fair *ucks to you !
haha, thanks! clearly I have no sense, sometimes going in blind is the best way! Bring it on, love going down (no smut please), steep hills are still a challenge, need to learn to change my gears in the right moment!
Garibaldi biscuits work a treat!
and I Am now in love with my 29er after end2end!
yeah! what am I wearing is right! not enough clothes! Had a black vest top on with g form elbow pads! should have worn a full length top as when the rain came down felt like hailstones on my skin.
get rid of that bike immediately..you need to be on an XS 26" machine or you are going to suffer for the rest of your life, whoever sold you that needs a ferocious kick up the arse !
