Foxhunt goes north............... i

2012 Foxhunt
Theres a few rumours and loads of questions being asked, so here it is .......

Having looked at 5 venues we are now in discussions with an eager Belfast City Council to host the 2012 RB Foxhunt and supporting race @ Cavehill in mid November - 5.3km from top to castle gates, fast with a bit of peddling and some cool jumps!!......, the Athertons are booked & the committees are discussing the details. Final confirmation yet to be received so....

well Red Bull rang me a couple of times early in the Summer and hoped to run it up North and invited myself and Luke up but they weren't sure what chances they had. I think its great, after all it was mainly our idea , the pity is that it has to be ran up North, after all we proved we could do it down here, its a shame that The Offroad Commission, Cycling Ireland hadn't got the conviction to fight our case and Coillte were too stupid to see the opportunity it presented. I hope it goes well but bear in mind that the Fox Hunt itself will be invite only , whereas the 2011 EPIC Blast invited all mountainbikers new or improved, young and old to have a go against the best in the world.
