BMX @ Cherry Orchard

I'm going tomorrow for the last round of the Autumn League and I'm planning to do the Winter League (I think that starts late November), anyone else?

the lease is up and hes not arsed to keep it..if you want my opinion, stay away from the place..you'll regret it if you break yourself up and can't train over the winter and I will break my bollix laughing at you in a cast ..

Eamon Wyer puts it very well, its not the best track but it is a track indoors and they never had one before, its a pity its closing down but I think hes being sued as well..a lot of people have hurt themselves at it..including Dave lawless who only went once !!

I've had enough of training and if I don't do it now I'll never do it, it's better to regret something you have done than something you haven't, isn't that right?

yeah..well, I won't be going , i don't have time, I like training and i like riding my bike with my mates..being sensible and being over 50 have nothing to do with it..I can't wait to see you at 50.

I only have about 1,5h tomorrow evening before the family descends upon me and I'll be stuck at home until the 5th of Nov so tomorrow is my only chance to get out...
I'll still try to make Monday because I know you miss me.... you old bollix! :)

Well this was feckin brilliant fun and I think that venue is great, don't listen to people who tell you otherwise! And it might actually stay open, which is great.
There was a huge crowd of kids of different ages and a good gang of us old farts (relatively!)
Marko, you should defo get your gang and go there on for one of the winter leagues! They have plenty of spare bikes etc. if you're stuck.

I did 7 motos of which I finished 6. I got 2nd twice, 3rd twice, 4 twice and crashed once. Thank f**k for the fullface helmet, I went on the soft side of the track and wiped out, never even knew what hit me but the bang was very loud inside the helmet! Great craic!

Eamo, the man who invented BMX racing, said they are short of over 50s for the Champs so there is your chance to get another title Byrner! And get Lynchy to do it, I would pay to see that!!

I'm still buzzin, I'll be back for the Winter League!
