Myself and Simon took to the streets of Dublin yesterday along with 14,000 hardy souls. I know running isn't every MTB'rs liking but there's no hiding when it's just you and the road. We both managed to go under the elusive 3hr mark which is like the holy grail in marathon running. Simon fresh from a 2.58 in Berlin shaded it with a 2.55 and I just scraped in with 2.59 so delighted with that, well done to Mick Maughan who did an impressive 3.30 in his first effort. It won't be long till there's arunnin forum in epic?? Don't knock it till you've tried it!

Well done guys. Really good times there! I did the Dublin Marathon a few years back (about 20 if the truth be told!) .... all of the pain of an MTB Marathon without the reward of the descents!
