Lots of deer...

We stumbled on a heard of about 30 or 40 deer yesterday near Glendo...stunning, never seen that before. Even Cathal who is a veggie was salivating.

While yer on the deer subject.Mountain bikers be warned you could get shot.Chatting to some hunters last nite they all have had mountain bikers in their sights around ballinastoe area,especially very early mornings 6 to 8am and late night 10 to 1am.Who the hell is out at that time.These guys dont shoot in the woods but use outskirts of forest for cover to pick off their prey on open ground.This makes riding even more exciting so wear grey gear and white shorts to be extra safe.

I'm gonna stick a fluffy white bottom on myself and grew a pair o' horns,
that should liven up B'stoe spins a bit.....

Forgot about that stoopid naughty word filter. What I meant to say was "a lot of hassle". It wasn't really a cuddles sort of moment, and shex would have been out of the question, yer man's rifle and Barbour jacket would have got in the way.
