Well there's one anyway, a Mr. Ger Jackson! Was talking to him this morning before he started, he was getting worried cos he forgot to bring the Child of Prague to keep the rain away! So best of luck to him in his quest for a podium place in the 24hr race. I think he's doing another attempt at the Wicklow Way both ways next week too, sure why not!!!

Ger was just in touch with me, he said it was like a 24 hour nps, he did over 300km and he thinks he might of scraped into the top 10. After about 10 hours he couldn't keep up with the pace of the top boys. There is a good chance he is rehydrating himself with bulmers at the moment! Great result for a man on his own with no support, well done ya lanky hardtail loving culchie.

Well done Ger finishing 10th without any support. Its hard enough to do 24 hr solo with support but without your result might as well be a 1st. We really missed going this year and hope to go back next year if you want to try for a podium again, you know 3rd time lucky
