I've been asked to spread the word on behalf of a friend in the Dublin-Wicklow Mountain Rescue team - the team are having a fundraising running event on Sat 30th November, it's called Run the Line and will take in parts of 3 Rock, Fairy Castle, Kilmashogue, Tibradden & Cruagh from 11 am until last light. If you are mountainbiking in those areas - particulary 3 Rock - on that day, please be especially aware of runners. More info on the event here: www.runtheline.ie
Any of us MTBers might at some stage need the services of the mountain rescue teams - which are completely volunteer-based organisations - so it is in all our interest to get along with them and support their fundraising, even if only by staying out of their way on that day. The co-operation of all riders with this will be much appreciated.
