XC Marathon champs

Going but not signed up yet! Thinking experts!!

New to this marathon racing this will be my first so what is the craic with the feed stations? Do I need to drop the bottles off before or is it just a case of filling up a bottle at the feed station?

Forgive me Micky if that is a bed wetter question but biking.ie haven't much details up on the website!
Usually fastest to have bottles there to grab, but don't carry much around as u don't need to. In the roc u just pull up and open your bottle and they fill it takes seconds so depends on yourself.
Gonna miss this one sadly. Was really looking forward to it, best race of the year last year, but will be spending all of Sunday getting myself edumacated .....(not that I could do a marathon the state of me right now)

Have a good one lads n ladies, hope your weather gods shine on ya
the very best of luck to all the club members taking part - going by the number of posts with huge kilometres being cycled over the last few months and all the prep for the Roc I'm thinking that the club will do very well! Again, the very best of luck, enjoy it (if you can!)
Good luck to everyone making the trip down and I think we have some strong riders that can bring home some silverware!!
This Steve is going, don't know about Mr. P! Anyone going down have a loan of a 37mm seat post clamp? Managed to feck up the threads on mine trying to tighten it up, have it botched back together but not convinced it'll last the day....
