What Tyre Width?

Sorry for the tyre sh!te talk again....

Ive bought UST 2.1 ignitors for the front and back of the XC bike,I have the front set up on the bike now but it looks real narrow. Is it worth my while sending the second ignitor back to CRC to get the 2.35 and put it on the front and the 2.1 on the back..How much difference would it make an tricky descents/ an average XC spin?
Hmmm, ****e talk.....Ignitors are really narrow, the 2.35's are more like 2.1's. Wider is always better up front where you will gain a bit on the gnarly stuff, but if it is for general XC then I'd say stick with the 2.1's. If they are not UST then bang on a Stans, run lower pressures and you will gain far more than just getting a wider tyre.

None.. Stick them on.
Iv seen lads on bald pythons rip down off-camber muddy banks without falter...

Its the rider, not the tyre, always the rider........
Its all down to what biscuits you eat before your spin not tyres.....Dethshed has compiled the following as a guide....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

b*llox to Bourbons - disgusting biscuit

Elite: Chocolate Hob-Nob sandwiched between two Jaffa-cakes
Vets: Bourbons (go on then, have the rotten yokes)
Masters: Custard Cream (the thinking athlete's choice)
Experts: Rich Tea (don't weigh the skinny feckers down)
Sports: Jersey Creams (Custard Cream wannabes, the students choice,
you could fit 300 of these biscuits in a standard Camelback)
