What is pilates?

• Pilates develops a strong core, increases strength and flexibility simultaneously, and improves posture, stability and alignment.

• The principal of pilates is that every movement requires proper alignment of the pelvis, providing a solid core to allow optimal power output.

What does a strong core do for cyclists?

• Core strength will help transfer more power to the pedals by providing a solid platform for the lower body to push against.

• It ensures correct posture and develops strength to support your riding position.

• Helps prevent lower back pain and neck pain due to sustained postures

• Develops intrinsic muscles of the abdomen, taking pressure off superficial muscles, promoting more efficient use of the legs.

• Improves flexibility of shortened muscles

• Improves balance and stability

Overall improvement in performance!!!
