Think it about two hour is what Oz was saying, I've got lost every time I've been there so could say for definite, so I'll stick behind a car with a bike rack and follow it from the motorway! That's my plan and I'm sticking to it sure it can't go wrong!
Good days racing thankfully the rain held off. Good start to the race took off at a steady pace left the greyhounds off and reeled them in just before the single track was going good till my chain came off just near the end of the intro lap lost a good 5 or 6 places then into the famous car door with a few people in front and people all over the place just couldn't ride it the way I wanted to so got delayed once out of that had a good bit of ground to make up to catch the lead group and then eventually pick them off till on the last lap and a half it was me and Cillian. We changed places a few times he would open up a gap on the down hill technical stuff I'd then claw it back on fire road and some of the trail center but towards the end he was very strong and but in a big burst to earn a well deserved win!
Good days racing excellent course bar the 100 yards of pointless sluge you had to run through when there was a perfectly good track around it, in saying that it had everything else that made for an enjoyable race . Fair play team ballyhora
Good crew travel and great craic pre and post race
Well done to Colm on the well deserved win in s2 after a serious battle with peter the two of them for you were juiced crossing the line and well done to Erica on the podium too!

That was a cracking day in Ballyhoura - some savage results for EPIC with lots of shirts on display. My S4 race was tough but I was happy to finish 12th, couldn't manage the Car Door section at all so, to save on hospital bills, I ran and slid down which was probably quicker anyway!
I only had about 20 mins to make the transition from competitor to photographer and get back up the mountain, but well worth it in glorious sunshine (mostly). Haven't started processing the photos yet as the day-job gets in the way - hope to have them up tomorrow some time.
Well done to all who competed and particularly all on the podium.
