Weather is looking better for this tomorrow, still going to be slippy, rooty, watch your speed kind of a day. I'm not 100% for this but it's only down the road so I'm going to give it a blast, I love all the technical riding in Djouce, even when it's wet! One of the hardest races I've ever don't. Pedalling thru mud for the full day. Normally after stage 3 I'm a bit sad it will all be over shortly but yesterday I couldn't wait for it tobe over. Don't get me wrong it was great fun just really hard work. Still you need a mud fest to have a proper Enduro series. Roll on Carrick
Totally wrecked after that, just a little bit too much muck out there yesterday! Well done Orla for a great 2nd place in ladies, great result. Managed a very respectable 9th in my "nearly old" class. Not a day for high fashion but I did meet Alfie at the start of Stage 2, that man always looks sexy! Loved Stage 5 up until the horrid muck after the bridge, so hard to power through it. Same deadly buzz at the finish comparing times, drinking pretend beer and wondering how the fcuk Wolfe can go so fast! Well done all in Epic who took part, it was a battle all the way. Carrig can get mucky but who cares, bring it on!
