all of you with all of your excuses! okay it was freezing but we had a whale of a time! We we riding the high seas as if it wasn't a squall. Okay it was a tempest, and cold but we're a hard lot and had a great spin, I was freezing by the time I got home, and have destroyed the place with all the mud! had a great time though even with 2 over the bars in the exact same spot- glad I went back for a 3rd go and nailed it then! ha ha! brilliant fun! well done all; you know you've got skills when you're flying on a day like today - great stuff!
Grand soft day! True it was cold to start with but the first climb took care of that. Yes it was bucketing down but we live in Ireland, not South California so if a little rain puts you off its time to book plane tickets. Lovely route (and roots). Caroline made it all look super easy (as she said herself "it was"). Finished up on Dream T which is always nice and then, as I headed home, I found myself drawn to climb back to the aerials - so up the road, duel track, kiddies, toms and then back down metro (the legs and back were complaining at the point) and on home for the high point of the day; my four year old busting a gut laughing as I hosed myself and the bike down! Massive hanks to Harri and Caroline for showing us some really nice trails.
Ha I fell back asleep until 11.30 which is not like me at all. Sorry I missed it , felt guilty & needed a cycle so went to Bstoe & soaked myself royally for an hour and a half. Next time people!
Really enjoyed the spin despite the rain. It was so wet it almost felt dry. Everyone was flying. Deadly loop. I skipped home at the bomb hole my hands were just frozen at that stage. Thanks guys!
