Passportes du Soleil

Myself and a few friends were thinking of signing up for the Passportes du Soleil event in June - the 75km circuit.

Can anyone recommend this event?
Is it worth the trip for the weekend??
Is it reasonably technical or easy terrain???
(the website doesn't show many of the trails, which makes me slightly suspicious)

Any other equivalents that would be a better bet???

We're looking for some technical XC, challenging but not too competitive - UK/Europe based.

Save your holliers for the Roc, get week.....freeride stuff, marathon stuff, xc stuff, bmx stuff, biggest bike show in france, 140,000 people and 14,000 riders. Courses are amazing too.........

The Passportes du Soleil is largely through alpine meadows and fire roads though there is some technical stuff too. I didn't enter but did most of the route. 20 minutes+ on a ski lift while it's driving down hailstones...almost like being back home.

Sounds like my suspicions were well founded.

We'll have a look at the Roc instead.
