As they are short on numbers I'll go in the elites for the craic and get a head start!

Signed up and paid up but have to cancel, knee still not recovered from falls in BStoe and Bunclody.....doc says stay off the bike for a few weeks!!! I'll meet him halfway :)

Yep going Colm mc Garvey said he was going too! Max will be about but don't think he is racing?

Colm P is he on holidays haven't seen him in the last few week? What about Oz, Iomair, Niall Q, Dan B?

Not seen a start list anywhere? Maybe that's why there is feck all hype nobody knows who's racing and who are the contenders for the jerseys

@ Chris,I couldn't have put it better myself!! There is no buzz what so ever regarding the Marathon XC Champs.No list off who's entered,no reports on who's looking good to win/riders to watch etc.Where's all the razzmatazz buildup???No wonder the entry numbers are low.The Cooley Thriller had more entrys,and that a non-championship event!!! I asked 3 days ago about a list of who's entered,and no reply.Only from the twits from summit mountingbiking do I know about 130 have entered in total,who they are,only God knows.Throw in the rain predicted for Sun,and numbers could be even lower for the startline.

Best of luck to EPIC members racing. Looking forward to the podium pictures already!!! No pressure loike.
