Nire Valley Drop

Hello All,

I'm thinking of doing this MTB sportive on Sunday (60K). Nothing to technical I think just a nice long route somewhere different. Anybody interested? € 35 on the day. Ballmacarbry, Co Waterford.

Did it last year but unfortunately can't make it this year! It's a great day out on the bike real relaxed vibe but exceptionally well run. Showers, bike washes and a serious spread of food after would definitely recommend it!

Great event. Organisation was faultless. The extra hour of sleep was welcome to do a 60k loop today. Everybody headed of at 11 sharp. Met Colm P and Vini at the start before we set of. Even though this is a sportive type Mtb event if alway turns into a race. For me anyway. Trials were good and al rideble. The autumn gave some nice colours to the scenery. Rain started half way and made the trails even slippier. Also some nice deep puddles and river crossings. Finished around 3.5 hours later. Hot showers and hot soup was welcome to warm up the body again. Stayed around for a bit longer to test al the nice food that was available. Realy enjoyed the whole event. Well done Nire Valley Drop
