Kimmage v Lance
Interesting, for those of us who have not been following Lances antics...
Did he or didn't he?

am I the only one that knows Armstrong is a Robot Alien ?
Well....
Since the last year he won the tour, the people that placed 2nd to 10th behind him have all been either caught or admitted to to "enhancing" their performance.
So... either he was super super human or his doctors were better than the others.
He was and is a very valuable asset for road cycling, very high profile, big publicity, big earner for all the sponsors and various tourism boards, lots of people have a vested interest in him not getting caught.
But having said all that... the 10 year old boy in me that watched Kelly, Roche, Martin Early and Paul Kimmage back in the day wants to believe that he was JUST THAT GOOD.... that he could just turn it on and ride them all off his wheel day after day.
But, can I ask you this.... was Lance the catalyst for the goober revolution ?
I think he was, since his multiple tour wins the sales in fluro yellow jackets and mid range road bikes has gone through the roof, the wicklow200 has become the biggest goober magnet and those that thought they were hardcore bought a mountainbike.

Why would anyone take drugs only to end up 10th? If I was going to take drugs I'd take them by the bucket load, my pee would be like lazer blow torch acid that would incinerate the sample jar, my muscles would tear my Lycra to shreds, I'd have the sex drive of a viagra fueled Hugh Hefner and a 10,000 yard stare, even when reading Guns and Ammo. And I'd win everything by a freaking mile.

I think he is guilty as hell as most of them are imo....He is just managed to stay one step off the testers...
He had the jelly snakes long before we had...
Did i hear recently he refused to have his blood from his hay days retested???

I was disapointed with Paul Kimmage the way his article was done to get a rise out of lance, calling him the cancer, Its like some cheap tabloid article and not very nice, But saying that I would tend to believe Kimmage, As he was right about Miller, Basso, And Landis.
Here is an interview after that heated press conference. I hope the truth comes out before he retires again.

in all seriousness, i think Kimmage was way out of order there, theres so many ways he could have had a go at Armstrong, typical oirish begrudgery, hes deadly, much deadlier than everybody else, he either knows somebody, hes lucky , or hes an alien.
It would be amazing if he was naturally that good. I'd like to think he is. If hes not I won't care either ways, I'll admire him for getting away with it for so long if he is, I love the rogues I does, but I think hes clean and just an incredible human being. For anybody whos lives have been touched by cancer, that was a cheap shot and fair play to Armstrong for even talking to him, i'd have been over the table stabbing the **** in the eye with his pen.
It would be amazing if he was naturally that good. I'd like to think he is. If hes not I won't care either ways, I'll admire him for getting away with it for so long if he is, I love the rogues I does, but I think hes clean and just an incredible human being. For anybody whos lives have been touched by cancer, that was a cheap shot and fair play to Armstrong for even talking to him, i'd have been over the table stabbing the **** in the eye with his pen.
Just heard this morning that Lance has confirmed he'll be riding the Tour of Ireland, interesting to see how people react to him
