7th Annual Charity Mountain Bike Ride

I'm sure most of you have seen this on your bookface, looks like a good spin for a great cause:


A mountain bike ride to celebrate the lives of those who have battled Cancer.

January 31st 2016: Charity bike ride at Ballinastoe Mountain Bike Trails in Roundwood, County Wicklow. We will assemble at the Biking.ie cabin at 10, where we will depart at 10.20am. There will be groups to suit all levels of fitness and ability. After the spin we will return to The Coachhouse Roundwood for complementary tea, coffee and sandwiches.

Donating
Entry is free and Biking.ie will be accepting donations for Cancer Support throughout the day. You will be able to donate before the event at 09.45, after the event at 12.30 or in the Coachhouse at 13.00. We will also be running a raffle and selling tickets at both Ballinastoe and the Coach House.

I like the idea of this,great cause.It could also be the place to give my new (well newish,i have all the parts since March 2013) 29er its public outing.

I plan on attending this, usually try do it every year

hopefully some more epic heads there this year

Yep Ill be there usual we do this as a social spin, let do the same this year and get as many members as possible out

I'll do this, going to go early and start at 9 with a quick warm up lap - prep for Blitz. Anyone welcome to join.

Does the charity spin tend to stick to the marked trails, or is there a bit of off piste involved?

Ye, just a lap of the marked trails. Last year we all cycled over from Roundwood, done the loop and the had a little spin off piste.
