Dirty Dames women's MTB race Ticknock 27 August

Gravity BC are organising a women's MTB race - XC and Enduro on the 27th August. Suitable for all levels. More details to come.

First attempt at enduro. It does say beginner friendly and suitable for XC bikes.

Great spin last night, 4 Epic women plus Brendan. Who knew there were so many women on mountain bikes, must have been 20+ out from different parts of the country. Should be even more at the race.

Yes - it was a great evening - I loved that pace!! And a great turn out!

Ye it was fun & the shock on the walkers/ other bikers faces seeing all us ladies on bikes was priceless every time!

I know, even Greg Callaghan was pretty shocked to see so many of us out.

Saw that Silvia is running an 8 week introductory MTB course for women through CI starting September, so it may become a regular occurrence.

Does anyone know if there is a practice spin planned for any evening this week? And is it really suitable for beginners (have only been out a few times so far, Ballinastoe, Ballyhoura etc.)?
