The point-2-point will take place on Sunday 4th September. I know, it clashes with other races but then so does every weekend from now till January!
There is no entry fee and there are no prizes (other than bragging rights). You need to register for this event so we can make arrangements with the Blue Light pub, i.e. get them to set aside some space for us / let them know that a group of hungry bikers will be stopping by. The link to the registration is at the end of the form.
Start time will be 9.00
Start location: Rear entrance to Marley Park.
Mass start with a naturalised start from Marley with the race proper starting from the roundabout at the end of Kilmashogue.
There are two course options, one is 20km whilst the other is 30km:
1. The short course
a. This is for those who want to get out but do not want to do the full loop. Course Details: Kilmashogue to the Blue Light via Legends DH, Fred's Field, Chisel and Turney Ferny. (circa 19Km / 620 meters of accent). https://www.strava.com/activities/665090739.
2. The long course
a. The full EPIC Tuesday Loop e.g. Kilmashogue to the Blue Light via Prince Willies (circa 30Km)
Parking: Lamb Doyles / Marley Park
We will have post event banter at the Blue Light.
