Some of the trails up Tree Rock have been obstructed with fairly big obstacles made up of numerous large tree branches or small rock walls! I've no idea who has done this but it's not the work of one person - more like half a days painstaking work for a fairly big group of people! Definately aimed at us I would think? It's hard to believe that a "walkers" group would be that motivated but I can't imagine that it's Coillte's work either! Anyway someone's determined to try and spoil our fun!

Coillte wouldn't be arsed..they could be built by the horsey folk for jumping over ..that was the reason I heard before but i'm dubious..they seem pretty crap to me..!! theres always been people blocking the trails up there..
Red Rum himself wouldn't get over some of these .....
I know, i've been dubious about that reason from the start..Alfie interupted some punter putting branches across the track up there and he whimpered some story about motocrossers !!!
I'd like to see motor crossers on rock and roll, quite a few tight corners there!
Thats that RETARD from the house on the left on ticknock hill, He is some farmers son who is a BIT strange, we used to see him years ago blocking trails we built on tree rock and kilmasogue, We caught him in the act on day and he was ranting about motocrossers again, Obviously he has not grown out of the silly habit, Maybe we should use him for a foundation for a nice jump !.
We used to rent a house opposite the entrance to Ticknock Car Park - fantastic place to live! We had to leave in the end because of that character - he used to hang around the house waiting for my "other half" to come home and we caught him peering in the windows more than once! She got totally "freaked-out" and I didn't blame her! Now that you say it Afgan I'm sure you're right! He's definately not the "Full Shilling"!
The minister has an funny story about that guy. Should ask him when he is drunk, its brilliant!
