Mannnn its is sweet over there at the moment..i was over there yesterday and the place a so dry it was amazing..Done the djouce challange then up and around the older trails just deadly..was having so much fun did the fox glove climb a few times..

Yea .. we were out in Djouce yesterday too! Had a fantastic spin - sunshine, dry trails - doesn't get much better!

Conditions are unreal at the mo. I was hillwalking on the Miners with a few lads, sooo dry underfoot, and I only fell over twice coming down the switchbacks, are those rocks getting bigger?

What boots were you wearing? What would you recommend ?

I always use Meindl Borneo tubeless. Good snakebite resistance in them Vibram soles.

What about the grip on the Leki poles - one finger or two?

Being a good upstanding protestant I only use steeltoes for marching on the 12th, in case of having to kick dirty fenians up the hole. Wouldn't want steel in the Meindls - weight saving you know.
