Rossco had a cleat break & crashed. I heard an almighty BANG!! Really went down hard!! He's ok though..road rash.
I went around anyway(enough said!)

Smashing result by Darragh, he's been flying lately and was due a result like that. Great to see the epic roadies getting stronger. We'll have another B rider in no time.

I'm trhrowng out these feckin pedals of mine - a broken spring and cleat at 45kmh = hitting the ground hard with a nice healthy dose of road rash.

Ah well, Byrner's right - Darragh's result made up for it. I'm just glad to see the lads improving.

That cant be right, is Darragh = Darragh Mortimer. He's only fifteen or something, at least that what I remember

I took the brunt of the crash so the bike only came away with ripped bar tape and a scuffed saddle. I was expecting to find and expensive heap of broken carbon.

In typical fashion I checked to see was the bike ok before I realised the bloodied leg and arms:)

Jeebus though I forgot just how painful road rash is!! It's been a long time sine I had a crash like that.
