Walking the Wicklow way?

Anyone have any idea how long it would take to walk the Wicklow Way from 3 Rock to Cloon carpark?

Stupid multiplied by Kilometers divided by why would you want to !!!

A bunch of very middle aged friends want to walk it.

Anyone know?

Right I've done my research. Kilmashogue to Curtlestown 14km has been done in 56mins.

So its doable in 3 hrs.

Ask Enduro, he runs the WW as far as Glendalough and back most evenings.

56 minutes for the record breaking fastest ever runner on that stage, which is not quite as far as cloon. good comparison :)

Continue down the page and check the slowest runners time and maybe multiply that by 2.5?

Is that 2.5 based on Walshes or Brasher hiking boots?

very middle aged friends = 54
very fast hillrunner = 27 2:1 ratio

walshes = 250g
Brashers = 1000g 1:4 ratio

So two plus a fifth is 2.25
Sorry, I was out by .25.....which is about the distance from Curtlestown to Cloon :)
