Rostrevor NPS this weekend

Well boys and girl as most of you already know round 3 of the Dh NPS is upon us this weekend up in Rostrevor. For anyone that hasn’t been up there before it’s savage, personally I think it’s the best all round venue on the Irish Dh calendar. The track is rough and fast and even in the mud rides really well. There is nothing too stupid on it so it’s ridable for all but can get tricky when you start pushing the speed. Up lifts right to the top and a big field for the finish area. Everyone should make the effort to get to it this weekend, it’s less than an hour and half up the road and even if your not racing come up and cheer on the Epic heads. I’ll see you all up there at the weekend.

I remember that i was off after Gee and Dan..

...I had to ask for an extra 30 seconds...

And Geebag said it was one of his favourite tracks....no lie!!

It's a class track alright, tough, but nothing too tough! Bring it on biatches!

Anyone travelling up and back sat & sunday?

Thinking of going up Friday after work and staying over Fri & Sat nights. Room for 2 bodies plus bikes in car and tent if anyone interested. May wuss out of some of this plan if weather remains as yite as it's been the past few days.

yeah , well it won't be half as deadly as racing 90 laps around a disused quarry with used fire extinquishers as markers..
I'm in a serious huff over this clash !!

and if I get my new freeride machine before the weekend I'll be in a biblical strop !!

Pull the finger out and get the KTM you've got Saturday to dial it in.

even if i was an xc savage i think i know which id choose. Rostrevor has more gnar than you can shake a stick at. Best track in the country. Its got a bit of everything except stupid gaps

shut up...i'm doing this for the greater good or some other mystical nonsense..don't make me any crankier than I am..and I am praying i won't have my new bike before the weekend.
it is the best DH track in the country but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do..then the following week I have a bleeding race in a bleedin garden..
I'm not sure i can cope much longer and then the XC nationals is on a hill on a Saturday the day before the DH nationals..
