Cian May got 2nd u10
I think Lewis Carr also got a podium in the under 8's
Shona won the Sports ladies
Smithers got 2nd in Sports behind a real banger !
I think the remainder of the Sports top 10 were EPIC..including a savage barney between John Richardson and Eoin lawless
John Doris ripped the Vets asunder
Luke got 3rd Expert !!
Alfie got 6th in a ferocious masters category..( mind you all the Cats are savage )
Elvis O'Reilly got a savage result in Elites..
Everybody else looked strong and deadly..
I would have loved to race the course..I never got my horse but Ger Jackson got a great result in Sports !!!
Overall a great day out..
The prize giving in the packed tents was to say the least intimate !!

Even the Doobie brothers were up there givin it loads..

Really pleased for Smithers (and everybody else of course) - he's so dedicated to his racing that he kept the pints to low double figures on Friday and only 3 last night - what a pro!!!!
Great day's racing by all in Epic,Fair play to Fergal and MAD for running a fantastic event ,the course was Deadly. Very pleased with my result. Richie was loving the power of the mic,you could hear him half way around the track,added the Epic craic to the event. Well done everybody!!!
Yea great day out, course was really good with a bit of everything in it. Smithers was flying, well done. Had a great battle with Eoin and an IMBRC lad for the whole second lap and just managed to pip Eoin on the line after having a fall in the last singletrack and having to try and catch him up again. Well done MAD on a great event.
and what about the Seymour lad on his going to the shops bike..is he ever going to stop winning..no off camber nonsense, no drops of death and he still wins..doing wheelies across the line..savage !
fair play to mad today.the course was great,best organised event i've been to this year,timing system was great and should be standard for nps,tea and cake after,the dj/mc/commisar was savage ,he had to be brought in from another club,they wanted the best.thanks to shona for the spare tube at the start,i'll sort you for that when i see you.condolences to luke on the passing of his most recent frame,have you tried cotic. welldone to everyone from epic huge turnout and savage resultsand yes i was the biggest banger in epic today.would have been even better if my mcguver multitool/puncture repair kit in pouch hadn't been lost and found and lost again.
The Epic guys and girls were so hot out there.Congratulation on all your results! and Richie doin the work of 20 men! great fun havin a lap on the big bikes with Brian. Well done to all the racers and support. Fantastic event for MAD, the trails! with there flowing features, push xc single track to a new level, 3 rock rocked and to Fergel you are one of the sports legands. A great day for the men in green.

great to see so many epic heads around racing and spectating some cracking results in all categories for the club
ye had a great day results wise - well done - Daragh was milling along - never seen the lad look so happy!
looked like everyone enjoyed themselves - I even got an email saying the kids loved the little loop we made for them!
but feck, I'm glad it's over, I don't think I handle stress well, but I must say, the commentary and top-notch rock really made me feel at ease, I'm now a fan of Airbourne and Gamma Ray, thanks to mr Byrne,
thanks feck I have a long time to relax before we do that again.....
can't wait for the final NPS race in Djouce!
And after that....the Nationals, and then......ahhhhh....freeride central for the rest of the summer, bouncy bike, easy up, fast down....boing boing boing!
