Epic MTB intro spin Sunday 18th Ticknock

Hi all,

Epic MTB are running the first of there intro spins this coming Sunday the 18th of September leaving the Biking.ie hut Ticknock at 11:00.

We are running these spins again after much interest and hopefully it will encourage new riders and lapsed members to join us for a couple of hours out on the trails, we aim to continue the spins on a weekly basis and as riders progress they can join the regular spins that the other club members post up. We will try change it up with different locations where possible.

Beginners welcome, nobody gets left behind, but a reasonable level of fitness is required.


Now for the few things we ask of everyone attending to adhere to.

Please bring a fully functional MTB bike or MTB-E bike.

Proper fitting helmet. No helmet no spin.

Water.
Snacks.
Dress for the weather.
Spare tube
Pump
Multitool
MTB shoes.

Big thanks to all who helped out today on what was a brilliant intro spin, with a special thanks going to Derek Mulvey who lead the way from the start which allowed the rest of us to sweep and keep the big group of new people together. Has to be said that the intro group were all absolutely brilliant especially Kathryn, Emma and Ceieste who got stuck in straight from the fast start. Everyone was well set up with all the gear and I think we only had one minor tumble and a slow puncture, not too shody. Great day out.
