The amount of times I got hooked up today with my wet baggies, fecking ridiculous, and while I wouldn't inflict lycra on anyone I see the charm, is there something in between, bikra or lycraggies or maybe just grease up my saddle and pants.

Agree with you entirely Don - wet, mucky baggies are really horrible! To be honest lycra is far more comfortable but, apart from racing, I'm not sure I could inflict the view on everybody else!
the best way to wear lycra is with 3/4 length tights underneath..the added material takes removes any bulge issues and also helps flatten those non sexual related bulges..
